Dublin Singer/Songwriter: Songs from the mid life...
Among other things, I'm a Dublin based singer/songwriter. My style, I think but you'll be the judge, is intimate, quirky and funny with a bit of drama kicked in!
I'm an experienced performer having sung in most of the main venues in Dublin including the National Concert Hall and The Gaiety. In addition to many sold out solo shows in the Abbey Theatre, No 10 Ormond Quay, The Sugar Club and Bewley's Cafe theatre, playing with some wonderful musicians.
I admire a good storyteller singer and am inspired by those who move and make you laugh like Charles Aznavour, Harry Chapin, David Gates, early Bee Gees, Michael Feinstein, and Rufus Wainright.
It's been a while but I am now back writing songs and singing, which I love. Last year (2024) I had the pleasure of recording an album of new material with the wonderful producer Billy Farrell. The album will be launched later this year and I can't wait for you to hear it. Some of the new songs will be performed at an IMT showcase with me and three other wonderful artists on September 25th.
What I hope to do is make people forget their worries through original songs and stories and have a good laugh at the madness of stumbling through life with all its ups and downs. Especially at the mid point in life. What the hell do we do now?
